Vibrant it is, the superyacht industry. After a 2-day Superyacht Design Symposium there was the inaugural ShowBoats Design Awards, held in Donald Trump’s private membership club. This ‘Mar A Lago Club’ in Palm Beach, Florida was the perfect location for hundreds of guests, who were all there to honor the industry’s creative talents. Many winners in different categories received this prestigious award. Among them was Vripack’s sports tender, ‘Brandaris Q52’, equipped with the beautiful Esthec®.

The ‘Brandaris Q52’ was the winner of a Showboats Design Award because it was the most innovative, yet still elegant yacht. Since this is the only design award for small yachts, the competition was tough. ‘Brandaris Q52’ had to beat 8 other nominations in order to win. Because of being a composite material with all its advantages and beautiful look, Esthec® was one of the reasons this yacht earned points for being innovative and elegant.
Esthec® was also represented at the 2-day Superyacht Design Symposium: a presentation was given by Christina Norris (Oversee Yachts), accompanied by three similar yachts all equipped with a different Esthec® deck design.
